About the event
I embarked on a special project with my friend, the jewelry designer Noémi Gera. After creating a series of 20-30 cm scale sculptures, I felt the need to expand into two different sizes. On one hand, I aimed for larger sculptures to craft more imposing objects. On the other hand, my fondness for miniature pieces led me to collaborate with Noémi, a jewelry designer I've known for ages, to create a jewelry collection together.
The concept was to jointly design the objects, leveraging our expertise in our respective fields of art. We played with natural patterns and surfaces, with Noémi using silver and myself working with the usual silk dupioni. This collaboration also allowed me to explore more vibrant colors that I truly enjoy but wouldn't necessarily suit my sculptures.
As a result, we now have a collection of white jewels, including a necklace, earrings, and a pin. Additionally, we've created a series of colorful flowery necklaces, earrings, and brooches.
