About the event
In 2013, I had the honor of receiving an invitation from the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists to design the scenery for the Season Opening of the National Opera House of Hungary. For this prestigious event, each artist, including myself, was given two three-meter-tall mannequins adorned with large skirts, and our task was to embellish them creatively. To bring my vision to life, I chose to work with waterproof fabric, employing tessellation—a specific origami technique. The attached pictures capture the beauty of these adorned mannequins showcased in front of the Opera House.
