Sculpture Costume

The Association of Hungarian Fine- and Applied Artists extended invitations to four artists, one of which included Kinga to craft the scenery for the Season Opening of the National Opera House of Hungary, in 2013. Each artist was provided with two three-meter-tall mannequins adorned with large skirts. Their task was to decorate these mannequins.

For this project, waterproof fabric was utilised, and manipulated with tessellation—a specific origami technique. In the pictures, the decorated mannequins can be observed in front of the Opera House.
